CBD-infused lubricants for sex

The Benefits of CBD-infused Lubricants for Sex Are Many!

In this new article at Men's Health, writer Gabrielle Kassel went looking for "The 15 Best CBD Lubes, According to Sex Educators and Sex Havers.", and she reached out to me about the benefits as well as some other considerations when it comes to CBD Infused Lubricants. Here is my symposis of the interview, with a link to the full article below.

Heather Jeffcoat, DPT

CBD, a non-psychoactive compound from the marijuana plant, is explored for its vasodilator properties, with a focus on how CBD-infused lubricants can enhance blood flow to intimate areas, which ultimately expedites the arousal process. With the growing presence of CBD-infused lubricants, a light is being shed on their potential impact on sexual well-being.

As I mentioned in the article:

Increased blood flow is an essential part of the arousal process, helping to encourage the genitals with blood and ultimately increase sensation and sensitivity.”

I continue to emphasize the significance of increased blood flow in promoting genital arousal, citing CBD-infused lubricants as a supporting agent in heightening sensation and sensitivity. The increased blood flow induced by CBD may aid in muscle relaxation, facilitating more comfortable penetration and creating potential benefits for individuals with pelvic floor dysfunctions marked by muscle tightness. The broader advantages of using CBD-infused lubricants, including pain reduction and an enhanced sexual experience, are underscored.

I proceed by noting,

Adding in lubricant has many benefits, including reducing pain and enhancing the sexual experience.” Factors to consider when selecting a CBD lubricant include ingredient scrutiny to avoid allergies, the necessity for individualized experimentation to determine the optimal dosage for users, and the importance of CBD concentration. Adding that amounts vary from product to product, though the best CBD lubes have at least 100 mg of full-spectrum CBD. The safety of CBD lubricants is explored, with a reminder of the essential role of lubrication in minimizing friction and the risk of micro tears during sexual activity. A skin test is recommended to identify any potential sensitivities before widespread application.

In conclusion, the article serves as a comprehensive guide, providing insights into the potential benefits and considerations surrounding CBD-infused lubricants, Men's Health Top Rated CBD-infused Lubricants, and encourages a balanced and pleasurable approach to sexual well-being.

Heather has affected my life in the MOST POSITIVE way and I am forever grateful. My husband refers to her as the "sex doctor" so you can only imagine how happy he is with my therapy outcome.

After the birth of my son I suffered from "Vaginismus", however, at the time I just thought I was broken. My "broken vagina" affected me physically but it was an emotional struggle as well. Many women in my life also suffered with pain from sex after their babies were born so I knew I wasn't alone. They told me they "just got used to it" but I couldn't see myself living that way.

Sex wasn't just painful, it was literally impossible - IT DIDNT FIT!

"I had a severe tear during childbirth that was not stitched together correctly and therefore healed poorly. Even after having a surgery a year later to remove the scar tissue, I was still having pain, and no one could explain why -- there was no overt 'reason' to explain the pain. I had tried other 'specialists' and even saw another physical therapist who had me do hip / leg stretches -- what a joke! I was about to give up and just 'live with it' until thankfully I kept searching online and found Heather.

A personal journey and testimonial from one of my patients:

My husband and I were married for 5 years before we were able to have intercourse due to my vaginismus. There was nothing traumatic in my past but for some reason, even though I wanted sex, I mentally avoided "that area" of my body and didn't even admit to myself that there was a problem for a long time, even though I was never able to put tampons in. Once I finally opened my eyes up to the fact that I had a problem, I had a surgery that was supposed to fix the issue.

No one could tell me why I was having pain during sex--sharp pain, not just uncomfortable, pain. I was referred to Heather Jeffcoat after researching several different options. I had seen a specialist who told me physical therapy would not help and my only option was surgery. I really didn't want to go that route, so when we got a referral, I decided to try it--it can't hurt, I thought. I am so glad I did. She diagnosed the problem right away, which was a relief in itself.

To know why I was having pain eased my mind immensely. And to hear that she could fix it without surgery was another relief. She said she could fix the problem in 6 weeks. I think it was actually 4 for me. She was very methodical, and treated me as an intelligent human being capable of participating in my own recovery. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. She did not try to prolong my session numbers, she worked hard to accommodate my schedule (and the fact that I had to bring a baby to sessions), and she was completely honest the entire time. It is so hard to find someone with these characteristics, much less a professional who is so good at what she does. She has my highest respect.
