Meet Carrie Morgan, SPT

Who we are
& What we do

At Femina, we are dedicated to providing a compassionate and personalized approach to Women's Health through specialized pelvic therapy. We understand the unique challenges women face and strive to create a safe space where these vital conversations can take place, making Femina the best kept SECRET in Women's Health care.

What sets us apart from other physical therapy offices is the model of care we’ve developed that allows our patients with chronic conditions to reach their goals. Our services are one-on-one with licensed physical therapists for 55-120 minutes. No unlicensed staff are used for treatments as we feel strongly that patients deserve physical therapy done by physical therapists, and that is the only way they’ll achieve their optimal outcomes.

Carrie Morgan, SPT

Carrie (she/her/hers) is pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA. Her interest in Pelvic Floor physical therapy began after a brief introduction in a musculoskeletal class, which led to a growing number of questions about the Pelvic Floor specialty not covered elsewhere in the curriculum. She took the initiative as a student to further her education outside the classroom and the standard curriculum. She has received special training focused on Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association (Level 1 Certification) in February 2022.

In addition to her interest in pelvic floor PT, she has a passion for neurological disorders, geriatrics, and pain disorder populations. Carrie became an LSVT Big Certified clinician, a physical therapy program that helps to improve function in individuals with Parkinson’s Disease, in December of 2022. Driven to learn more about successful aging from the perspective of Physical therapy, Carrie joined and became an officer for the USAHS Geriatrics Special Interest Group. Carrie’s previous clinical affiliations have been focused on orthopedics and inpatient neurological rehabilitation.

Carrie hopes that during her clinical rotation at Fusion/Femina Physical Therapy she will sharpen her clinical skills and develop deeper understanding of pelvic floor PT clinical reasoning. By combining her experiences in different settings, she strives to holistically treat her patients with evidence-based care. She values looking at the patient not as a diagnosis, but as a person with many variables that make up who they are and how they function. She strives to give patient centered care and works with her patients as a team to achieve their goals.

When she is not studying or treating patients, Carrie can usually be found in the mountains snowboarding, mountain biking, enjoying a mountain lake, and spending time with her husband and dogs, Ninja and Honey.
