Period Action Day – October 8, 2022 – Get Involved Now!

Period Action Day: Helping Provide Menstrual Products to Those in Need

Millions of women across the United States are suffering the consequences of not being able to afford period products. We believe that menstrual hygiene is a matter of human rights, not a privilege.

That’s why we are partnering up with PERIOD. for Period Action Day on October 8th. We are now collecting NEW, UNUSED, UNOPENED menstrual products from now until October 7th for our Period Action Drive to donate to a local women’s shelter.

Products can be dropped off in our Pasadena or Sherman Oaks locations, or you can make a cash donation by following the links in our Instagram at@feminapt and @theladypartspt.

Heather Jeffcoat, DPT
Heather Jeffcoat, DPT, is the Founder of Femina Physical Therapy and author of Sex Without Pain: A Self-Treatment Guide to the Sex Life You Deserve. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University. A nationally recognized expert in pelvic health, Heather served as President of the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy (2021–2024) and sits on the Advisory Board of the International Pelvic Pain Society. Since 2004, she has led one of the first pelvic health physical therapy programs in the Pasadena/Glendale area, expanding her mission of quality, accessible care to Beverly Hills and Sherman Oaks. Featured in Vogue, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, and Health Magazine, Heather continues to advocate for a whole-body approach to pelvic and sexual health.
