"I had a severe tear during childbirth that was not stitched together correctly and therefore healed poorly. Even after having a surgery a year later to remove the scar tissue, I was still having pain, and no one could explain why -- there was no overt 'reason' to explain the pain. I had tried other 'specialists' and even saw another physical therapist who had me do hip / leg stretches -- what a joke! I was about to give up and just 'live with it' until thankfully I kept searching online and found Heather.

Within a few minutes of our initial consultation, I knew she was different and light-years beyond that other so-called 'pelvic floor specialist' I had seen. Heather actually understands how all of the deep muscles of the pelvic floor work together, and explained that even though my scar tissue was indeed gone, my body was so used to 'guarding' against that pain that my muscles were just as tight (and therefore immobile and painful) as if the injury were still fresh. Thanks to her unique system of alleviating pressure points in the pelvic floor (many exercises can be done at home, which will accelerate your healing), I no longer live in constant pain. Thank you, Heather!!!"
