Christina Lindeman (she/her/hers) became involved in dance and fitness at an early age, beginning her dance training at the age of three. As her training became more intense, she sought education in nutrition and general fitness to support her regimen, and was first introduced to Pilates at the age of fifteen. She became a Certified Pilates Instructor through the Long Beach Dance Conditioning Advances in Pilates Technique program in 2000. This program focused heavily on the application of proper biomechanics and appropriate modifications to classical Pilates repertoire.
Christina has extensive education and experience in prenatal/postpartum Pilates, Pilates for men, children, and seniors, Pilates protocols for injuries, yoga, dance and athletic conditioning, and cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility training. She also owned her own Pilates studio in Sherman Oaks for ten years.
Her sessions focus on using proper form and alignment while building a strong foundation- all in a safe, challenging workout. She works with a wide variety of clients of all ages and abilities. She believes in making exercise approachable and accessible, and wants her clients to feel empowered and comfortable in their bodies.
Christina has performed with various dance groups in the Los Angeles area. She danced principal roles with the West Valley Ballet Company from 1997-2003, and was a principal dancer and choreographer with Meh-tropolis Dance Theater from 2004-2008. She has taught ballet for both children and adults. More recently, she was a Company dancer, instructor, and rehearsal lead for Sexy Salsa Ballroom. She has also volunteered with Infinite Flow Dance, an inclusive dance company for dancers both with and without disabilities.
Christina enjoys maintaining her own extensive fitness regimen so that she can continue to help others in their fitness journey.
